Welcome to Little Green! I've been thinking of starting a blog for a while, and am finally doing it. It's meant to just be a creative space for myself. I do stay at home with my daughter who will be 3 in July, but I do not intend for this to be only a 'mom blog.' That said, I don't have a specific niche yet that I know I want to get into; I am hoping that evolves. I just plan to use the blog to post pictures, craft projects, and maybe recipes; perhaps respond to articles; and anything else that I can't think of now. I will not ever pass judgement on other parents or offer parenting advice, both of which I see so often on other blogs. One of my basic beliefs is that as parents, we must support each other, not constantly criticize.
I saw this quick article today on Huffington Post about finding a new word for stay at home moms and thought it was interesting. I think the author has a lot of great points and love that she suggests that any new word needs to apply to dads as well. Of course it does!
Please be patient as I learn more about blogger and writing blog posts in general. This is very new territory for me.
